The winter of 2002-03 has been one of the coldest and snowiest in recent years. Here is a picture of Taughannock Falls at the end of a 6-week period of continuous freezing weather. The snow and ice buildup at the base of the falls is an estimated 60 feet high. We hope that the bridge below the falls will survive the thaw! Click the cameras below to see just how high the ice is.
