Build a Comfortable Aldo Leopold Bench

We have built several Leopold Benches for the Finger Lakes Land Trust, the Finger Lakes Trail, the Cayuga Trails Club, and for Ruth's Waterfall. You can see full plans here.

We have a special connection with these benches. Carl Leopold (1919-2009), son of Aldo Leopold, lived in Ithaca and was the founding President of the Finger Lakes Land Trust. So it is a real joy to build these benches in this setting.
