Near the mouth of Fall Creek, a tributary
of Cayuga Lake, in the city of Ithaca, Tompkins County, NY.

Access
|
Ithaca Falls Park. You can see this 100-foot
waterfall from the Lake St. bridge over Fall Creek or you can park
nearby and walk a short trail on the south side of fall creek to the
base of the falls.

Hiking
|
It is a short, easy walk to a small park
and then onto the base of the falls. In high water, spray from the
waterfall can make the trail muddy and slippery.

Fall Creek has the largest watershed
of the Ithaca gorges and its crown jewel, Ithaca Falls, is a spectacular
waterfall at any time of year.
