Location |
On South
McMillan Creek, a tributary of Conesus Lake,
near the Town Of Conesus, in Livingston County. |
Access |
Private |
Hiking |
Moderately
difficult. We found lots of downed trees and slippery
rocks walking in the stream. |
Details |
We started
upstream just below where the stream crosses under
Route 15 in the village. There are two waterfalls
and remnants of old dams and mills just below the
village. Then the gully levels out to small waterfalls
and rapids.
This is a good sized stream and should probably
be avoided in high water. We found it delightful
on a beautiful fall day. |
