Location On Irondequoit Creek in Channing H. Philbrick Park in the Town of Penfield, Monroe County.
Access Public park with walking trail. Find access from Route 441 just west of the Village of Penfield.
Hiking This is an easy hike on an improved trail in a Town Park. In places, boardwalks and bridges are provided. The total length of the trail is about 1/2 mile.
Details

This was one of the first winter water hikes we took. It is on a trail which follows Irondequoit Creek for about 1/2 mile through a broad valley. There are numerous small rapids and waterfalls along the way. Although you can do this hike at any time, we like it in the winter when there are very few people.
