A severe thunderstorm dropped 0.5" of rain in about 15 minutes and brought down a beautiful, 40-foot hemlock tree.

We knew the tree was precarious with only a few roots holding it into the steep shale wall. But we were very sad to see it go.

Now for the cleanup...
