Location

In Mercer County, WV. Brush Creek flows into the Bluestone River, New River, Kanawha River, and Ohio River to the Mississippi River.

Access

State of West Virginia natural area and Nature Conservancy preserve.

Details

This waterfall is 25 feet high, reported to be the highest in southern West Virginia, and is in an impressive rocky, wooded gorge. The trail from the parking lot to the falls is 1/4 mile, slightly downhill, with a few rocky spots. Slightly downstream from the falls, the trail continues through the Nature Conservancy preserve to the Bluestone River.
