The scene two minutes after the tree hit.
The Bridge performed exactly as we had designed it, opening up to let
the tree (and several smaller ones that followed), and the flood waters
through.
The 20-foot section on the far side is tethered to a tree and is lying
on it's side, partially on the bank.
The 16-foot section on the near side is tethered to the pier and is
on it's back at the edge of the creek, but still in fairly strong current.
The small connector section is bobbing on the end of it's cable.
Everything went according to plan for about 25 minutes...
