The creek is up about 12 inches (30cm) in the middle. The legs offer little resistance to the water so the bridge is stable.

I had removed the panel between the two halves of the bridge so that it would not offer any resistance if the creek wanted the bridge to move. The panel is connected to the near side of the bridge by a 1/8 inch steel cable.
