It has been an almost snowless Winter as of early January,
2005. However we have had two short cold spells when this
waterfall probably froze over and then thawed. On our hike,
after several days
of 40° (4° C)
weather, most of the ice cover had melted. The
"snow" along the side of the stream is actually ice and
frozen mist from
the
waterfall. |
