The winter of 2008-09 has also been cold with 4 weeks below freezing. On our hike up the Gorge Trail last week, we just missed a large ice fall. Thanks to fellow hiker Sharon Kotz for the "before" picture from the overlook. We drove to the overlook after the hike for the "after" picture.
