The Ice Climbing event of the Ithaca Light in Winter 2004 festival drew more than 250 people to view members of the Ithaca ice climbing commumnity doing their thing at Six Mile Creek. This is the climber's view of the audience on the bridge above Van Nattas Dam. The old water filtration plant for the Ithaca water supply is on the left. This tamed waterfall was originally called Wells Falls but now has the local name of Businessman's Lunch Falls. Evidently someone noticed that there were a lot of businessmen having lunch on the bridge during the summer. It could have been the attraction of the running water, but most probably was the Cornell and Ithaca College coeds sunning on the flat rocks at the base of the falls.
