Location

Near the mouth of Fall Creek, a tributary of Cayuga Lake, in the city of Ithaca, Tompkins County, NY.

Access

Ithaca Falls Park. You can see this 100-foot waterfall from the Lake St. bridge over Fall Creek or you can park nearby and walk a short trail on the south side of fall creek to the base of the falls.

Hiking

It is a short, easy walk to a small park and then onto the base of the falls. In high water, spray from the waterfall can make the trail muddy and slippery.

Details

Fall Creek has the largest watershed of the Ithaca gorges and its crown jewel, Ithaca Falls, is a spectacular waterfall at any time of year.
