What's New

This is one of the biggest erratic boulders we've seen. It probably came from northern Canada during the last ice age and was buried until recently (within the last 50 years or so)  when it fell into this gully. Once exposed to freezing and thawing, this giant granite boulder will break up into smaller pieces in a few tens of years.
