Location Near the tiny village of Llanrhaeadr in northern Wales. It's a beautiful 4-mile drive up a glacial valley to the falls. The road is a single track. We got commandeered by the grocerywoman in Llanrhaeadr to carry a bag of potatoes to the restaurant at the base of the falls.
Access

The waterfall is in the Public Trust but the concession is a private lease to a genuine waterfall spirit, Phill Facey. He runs a nice pub, restaurant and small B&B along with parking for the waterfall. There is also a beautiful campground just downstream from the waterfall. We got here in the last hours of our visit to Wales and wished we could have stayed longer.

We can't tell you too much about this place. Even if we could find the words, it would be like talking about the ending of a great book or movie. It would be better if you see it for yourself. Let us know when you're going; we'll meet you there.
