is an easy hike on an improved trail in a Town Park.
In places, boardwalks
and bridges are provided. The total length of the
trail is about 1/2 mile.
This was one of the first
winter water hikes we took. It is on a trail which
follows Irondequoit Creek for about 1/2 mile through
a broad valley. There are numerous small rapids
waterfalls along the way. Although you can do this
hike at any time, we like it in the winter when
are very few people.
There is a trail map at the Penfield
Trails site, Channing
H. Philbrick Park Trail.
