Moderate difficulty up to the falls. We found the falls to be
impassible but we climbed the slope to the east downstream from the falls and hiked along
the rim to get to the top. |

We hiked this gully on a cold winter day with the landowners
who turned out to be friends of friends. This is a pretty stream with wonderful snow and
ice patterns on the day of our hike. There were a lot of downed trees which slowed us
down, but also helped in the numerous crossings. At the falls, the gully narrows to a deep
crack and then opens up into the cylindrical Devil's Bedroom with 60' walls all around. |
